Picture Time!

Hey, it's Sergio, the volunteer for Arts and Entertainment entertaining himself with Lulu during our recent trip to Xela, Guatemala.

Just some happies ladies with big bags.

Also Xela, a beautiful city with a lot of 19. century buildings. How unexpected in Guatemala. It's all because the earthquakes have spared the city since 1902. That's a big factor in Guatemalan urban design - when the last earthquake happened determines how the city looks like. In the capital the earthquake is long overdue...
On this picture notice the "Cristo Viene" sign up on the hill above? It seems very common here to tell everyone who might want to know that Christ is coming very soon. Well, I'm sure with the bad bus connections in Guatemala he will be late so no worries.

Some lovely ladies.

and some serious senores.

Yes, I also had my fun with Lulu in Xela. He was particularly keen on my toothbrush.

hola, interesting pictures you have taken there! Interesting people, in a funny environment (I wonder how difficult/easy/acceptable it is to take pictures of the indiginas?)
(oh, and i hope you don't need to make use of the dentista down there).
Hasta luego! :)
